Can i calculate the refractive index of a material if i measure it's spectral data at multiple Thicknesses? - index of naturist jpg

I have several samples of a transparent material. With the spectral data at intervals of 1 nm to 380-780nm taken I calculate the values of the refractive index nm in a database. I know this is possible because the spectral data is defined as an integral and the relationship between the thickness and the transmission is in the law beer, algebra based, but this differential equation is given to me on the head. Any help?
